Accounts & Characters

How accounts, characters and privileges work.

One account, one character

An account has a single character. The website shows that character on your account page along with your balances.

Characters are created in the game client. Registering on the website creates the account; the first time you log into the game you make the character.

Usernames and passwords

Username4 to 20 characters: letters, digits and underscore
Password8 to 31 characters, and not the same as the username

The 31-character limit is the game client's: its login box cannot send more. Use letters, digits and symbols you can type on the game's login screen; an emoji or a non-Latin script cannot be typed there. Passwords set before the 8-character rule keep working.

At the game's login, each wrong password makes the next try for that account wait a little longer, and five wrong in ten minutes lock that account from your address for a minute.

A new account's first week

An account must be 7 days old before it can trade or send Coin items: list or buy for Coins on the market, or send a Coin-priced item to another player as a shop gift or by item post. Everything paid in Gigas is open from the first day.

What a character carries

Level and EXPProgress toward the level cap: 185, or 255 with Membership
GigasThe currency earned by playing — see Currencies
Guild and Guild PointsIf you have joined one — see Guilds
Equipment19 slots — see Equipment Slots
Bag10 slots of carried items
StashExtra storage: page 1 (10 slots) is free, pages 2 to 5 are bought with Coins — see Bag, Stash & Gift Box
Gift boxWhere market purchases and gifts arrive

Coins belong to the account

Gigas belong to the character. Coins belong to the account. That matters if you ever delete your bot (from My Info in the game): your Coins and membership stay with the account, while the bot's Gigas, equipment, bag, stash and gift box are deleted with it, for good. A guild master cannot delete their bot.

Privileges

Three levels exist: player, gm and admin. A staff account sees its level on its own account page; public profiles never show it.
