Levelling
The level cap, EXP, and where it comes from.
The cap
Without Membership your level stops at 185. Members level all the way to 255.
EXP keeps counting past 185 even without membership: become a member and it turns into levels at the end of your next match. If a membership runs out you keep every level you reached and simply stop rising until you renew.
EXP
EXP is paid at the end of every match, and Sector pays by far the most:
- The EXP for defeating enemies grows with the map's level, not yours — a high-level bot on a low-level map earns low-level rewards.
- Clearing the map adds a completion bonus. A lost or timed-out match keeps the EXP from the fighting but not the bonus.
- The room's difficulty moves it: Easy pays 25% less of the base EXP, Hard 25% more (see Game Modes).
- PvP, Team and Base matches pay EXP too, but only a small amount.
Members earn 2× EXP from every match on Saturdays and Sundays (Berlin time).
Your current EXP and level are shown on your account page and on your public profile.
The rankings carry boards for both level and EXP, so you can see exactly where you stand.
Enhancement is separate
Levelling your character and upgrading your gear are different things. Items carry their own +1 … +N enhancement — see Enhancement.
