Enhancement
The +N upgrade level items carry.
Items carry an enhancement level, shown as (+1), (+2) and so on at the end of the name. A higher level means better stats on the same item.
| Gear | Levels |
|---|---|
| Head, Body, Arms | up to +5 |
| Minibot, Energy Field, Shield, Shoulder | up to +4 |
| Gun | up to +3 |
On a Head, Body or Arms part the level adds a bonus stat on top of the part's own, and the bonus grows with each level. The letters before the level say which stat it is — Hammer-HeadCRT(+3) is a Hammer-Head with extra Critical.
Where enhanced items come from
- Drops. Equipment that drops in Sector games always comes enhanced; the shop sells the plain versions.
- Combining. A Combination Coupon (48,000 Coins in the game's shop) turns three identical parts — same part, same bonus, same level — into one part a level higher, up to +5. It works on Head, Body and Arms parts only, and not on rented parts. Each coupon is used up by one combine.
Enhancement travels with the item. When an item is listed on the market its level goes with it — so Hammer-HeadCRT(+5) and Hammer-HeadCRT(+1) are priced very differently.
Combining is done in the game client, not on the website.
The endgame set ladder
The gear sets that drop on the top maps stand on one ladder, from the trio sets (CPU, Bladess Core, Rapid Impaler) through Meteor Jackal, Devil, Matrix and CyberZero to Storm Marine and Funk:
- Stats: each set beats the one below it on every stat line, at every grade. Storm Marine's +N bonus stat is 4.5% above CyberZero's, Funk's 7.5%.
- Selling back to the shop: a higher set always sells for more than a lower one at the same part and grade, and +1 to +5 rise in order; an (E) part sells as its +5.
| Patch head, CRT(+5) | Level | Sells for |
|---|---|---|
| CPU-CRT(+5) | 166 | 90,000 Gigas |
| Meteor JackalCRT(+5) | 181 | 91,000 Gigas |
| Devil PatchCRT(+5) | 196 | 91,750 Gigas |
| Matrix PatchCRT(+5) | 200 | 92,750 Gigas |
| CyberZeroCRT(+5) | 220 | 93,500 Gigas |
| Storm Marine PatchCRT(+5) | 235 | 94,500 Gigas |
| Funk PatchCRT(+5) | 245 | 95,500 Gigas |
These sell values were lowered for the release, so that the gear from one clear of a top map sells for a few times the map's win Gigas, not up to ten times.
